A very valuable example of straw raincoat, used in the area around Lepoglava and Ivanec. Of conical shape, the technique of its making was well-known to the entire local population, while it was also utilized by shepherds. This type of elementary protective clothing could, until the 18th c., be found in Styria, in transitional parts from eastern Alps to western Pannonian valley. In our midst, it was used well into the 50's
