Tesla's 70,000 volt Transformer

The original high-voltage transformer generating high frequency current was manufactured in 1895 by the E. Ducrett & L. Lejeune company from Paris based on Tesla's description (Tesla's lecture, Paris, 1892). It was used for therapeutical purposes (by Dr. d'Arsonval, after whom the way of applying alternating current in medicine was named). The model serves demonstration purposes.
