Presented are the features of iron and copper ore, gypsum, and anhydrite reservoir and excavation process in the traditionally mining area of Rude near Samobor. The site has a historical importance, because there are data indicating that mining activities there date back to as early as the Middle Ages, or perhaps even earlier.
