The "Malisan" CB-20 Submarine

  • Dimensions: 1,500 x 300 x 450 cm
  • TMZ, inv. n° 332

The original submarine, manufactured in 1942 by the Italian company All Caproni from Milan belongs to the so called "pocket-size" submarines, because its total mass amounts to 35 tons. Its crew consists of four members, while it is armed with two torpedos. Such submarines were used for sapper attacs. Surface drive is ensured by a diesel engine, while that subsurface is achieved by means of an electrical motor.
