Originating from the Bosnian village of Hum, it is made of wood, with some iron parts. By shifting the board from left to right, furrow after furrow is being ploughed on a hilly terrain. This plough is particularly characterized by a symmetrical share, as in a ploughshare, enabling ploughing on both sides.
