A CHASUBLE (the back)
- golden and multicolour silk embroidery,
- Italy, beg. 15th c.,
- soft-backed silk taffeta,
- most probably Italy, mid 18th c.
- The center of the back has the scene of the Madonna with Baby Jesus embroidered, with figures of saints and apostles surrounding it. The front of the chasuble is missing, though.
