The Collection of Graphic & Product Design was established as a separate unit in the 50's, when the Museum acted as one among the promoters of modern design conception in the region.
Through a continued exhibiting of both local and international production, as well as owing to its co-operation with The Industrial Design Centre, the Milan Triennale, the Industrial Design Biennale in Ljubljana, and the International Exhibition of Graphic Design & Visual Communications ZGRAF traditionally held in Zagreb, the Museum has been actively contributing to design promotion for the past over four decades now.
