Multimedia presentations
- Video material The Ivan Mestrovic Foundation-The
Mestrovic Atelier
Zagreb, the Bogdan Ogrizovic
library and reading room, April-November 2002
Within the joint educational museum action of the Zagreb
museums (18th April-18th May 2002), a multimedia event (comprising
an exhibition, video screenings and fine arts workshops)
called From Home to Museum was organized, aiming
to give a comprehensive presentation of the Mestrovic Atelier.
A special feature of the action was an unorthodox stepping
out of the museum building through the video material The
Ivan Mestrovic Foundation-The Mestrovic Atelier, consisting
of seven video-clips of an average length of 30 seconds
to 1 minute shown on a TV monitor in the window of the Bogdan
Ogrizovic library and reading room (Zagreb, Preradoviceva
5) every six minutes between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. daily, throughout
the entire duration of the action. The visualization proved
to be very efficient in promoting the Mestrovic Atelier
and helpful to its public relations, so the screenings of
the clips continued even after the end of the House
action, namely until the end of November 2002, i.e. they
were screened for eight months in total. The video was made
by a group of authors: the TV and film cameraman Vladimir
Petek, the journalist Nada First, the senior curator of
the Ivan Mestrovic Foundation Danica Plazibat. Publisher:

- Video material Ivan Mestrovic 1883-2003
Zagreb, Split, 2003
The action was carried out to mark the 120th anniversary
of Mestrovic's birth. Three clips of an individual average
length of 40 seconds and of different content (Ivan Mestrovic's
portrait, a selection of Mestrovic's works, the Ivan Mestrovic
Foundation) were designed to be screened in public places
in Zagreb and Split, as a way of multimedia presentation.
The clips were designed by a group of authors: the TV and
film cameraman Vladimir Petek, the journalist Nada First,
the senior curator of the Ivan Mestrovic Foundation Danica
Plazibat. Digital editing and realization: FAVIT multivision
Publisher: Ivan Mestrovic Foundation
