The painting of the Birth of Venus by Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli, for its incarnation of the beauty of life and the human body, has become one of the cult values of both the Gallerie degli Uffizi in Florence and of Western European culture as a whole. It was in this context that it was selected for the motif of the poster.

The special feature lies in the technical production of the artwork – it is reproduced in the form of a drawing produced entirely with lines. For this reason the artwork can be recognised only when looked at from a certain distance, corresponding to the mega-form of the poster (it is composed of six parts).
