...an ornamental figure from the bow of the sailing vessel "Abraham", which belonged to the Peljesac Maritime Association
The figurehead represents a woman in a standing position with a pronounced bust. Her right leg is placed forward, and one can tell that her right arm was lifted, even though both arms were cut off to the level of shoulders. The folds of her dress flow between the breasts and over the waist that is tied up to the bottom of the figure outlining the right protruding leg. The woman's head is raised, and her eyes turned towards the sky. Her short hair is wrought very schematically. The wooden figure is painted white and its outlines are carved in rough moves, in places appearing awkward and unnatural. The rear side of the figurehead was left unwrought, as this side was built into the vessel's bow.
