This bronze statue is a representation of the Egyptian god of afterlife Osiris in a standing posture. He is wearing a long cloak with slits for hands, which are folded and placed above each other. Osiris is holding two rods, a sceptre and a flagellum, whose upper ends fork towards the shoulder tops. He is wearing a white crown of the Upper Egypt without the usual ostrich feathers on the sides. On the cap above the forehead, there is a snake whose tail is coiling upwards towards the top of the crown. Around his neck is a wide necklace. Osiris' face is expressive and wrought in minute detail, with slightly protruding eyes and rounded lips. The tip of his twined tongue-shaped beard is bent upwards like a spiral.
